Common questions

FAQ — Ducati key replacement

Do I need a working key to use this service?

No. We specialize in lost-all-keys situations. Ship us the ignition cylinder and we work from that — no original key required at any point in the process.

Does the Ducati immobilizer need to be reprogrammed too?

Yes — on most Ducati models the key and immobilizer are electronically paired. We handle the full programming sequence so your bike starts and runs exactly as it should.

Is this cheaper than a Ducati dealer?

Almost always significantly cheaper. Dealers charge full labor rates plus parts markup. We bundle labor and materials into one flat price with no dealer overhead — and you never have to tow the bike.

Do I need to ship the whole motorcycle?

No — usually just the ignition cylinder and dashboard. We'll tell you exactly what to remove and how to ship it when we contact you after your form submission.
